Monet-style Still Life

Dee hosted a Zoom demonstration in July 2021 and demonstrated how coloured washes and the addition of gels and pastes could enhance your painting.
Dee will demonstrate several things at this workshop:
1. She will run through and demonstrate again the acrylic mediums – slow dry gel, glaze medium, impasto gel and texture paste, and there will be some for everyone to try out during the tea break.
2. “Monet style” painting techniques – Dee will demonstrate and ask you to do a small sample.
3. Then working from several African objet d’arts which she will bring, (feel free to bring your own subject matter) we will do two preliminary sketches in charcoal on cartridge paper before drawing and painting our final piece.
